A digital co-working space in the beautiful Bega Valley on the Sapphire Coast of NSW

cows-group-photoAs the ranks of ICT-skilled SeaChangers migrating to this region grows, a physical space that fosters technical, creative and entrepreneurial collaboration between the new arrivals, and the local community.

This ‘hub’ is located at 209 Carp St Bega, and was officially opened on the 28th February 2014. It is hoped that CoWS will herald a new direction,  emphasising participation in the Digital Economy, knowledge Services,  and ICT as key drivers of the economic future of the region.

The space has a capacity for 14, with potential to expand, and offers low monthly/weekly and daily rental rates to it’s users. As many ICT and creative professionals work from home, the flexibility to drop in for one or more days during the week to CoWS is expected to have strong appeal.

CoWS has strong links to the team operating the Entry29 Co-Working Space in Acton, Canberra and will over time seek to establish further links to other similar initiatives around Australia.
